A simple job that still needs doing properly

Confirmation Statements

Every company has to file a Confirmation Statement with Companies House. It is essentially a yearly check that the information held about your company is still correct.

Ask us

That includes things like:

Your registered office address

Directors and company officers

Shareholders

Share capital

People with significant control

Your company’s principal business activities

If nothing has changed, the statement still needs to be filed.

If something has changed, we’ll make sure the right information is updated.

We’ll keep an eye on the deadline

Confirmation Statements are easy to forget because they only come around once a year.

  1. We’ll keep track of when yours is due and let you know if we need anything from you.

  2. Where we already act for the company, we’ll usually have a good idea of what has changed during the year anyway.

  3. We’ll check the information, ask any questions we need to and make sure the statement is filed on time.

Has anything changed in the business?

This is also a useful point to check that Companies House still reflects what is actually happening in the company.

Maybe a director has joined or left.

Maybe shares have changed hands.

Perhaps the company has moved or the nature of the business has changed.

If something has happened during the year, tell us.

We can make sure the right changes are dealt with rather than leaving old information sitting on the public record.

What if nothing has changed?

That’s absolutely fine.

The Confirmation Statement still needs filing, but it should be a very straightforward process.

We’ll check the details with you and get it done.

We’ve got this covered, so you can focus on running your business.

You can relax knowing this part is being taken care of. GTA is part of your team.

Not sure when yours is due?

We can check where things stand, let you know what needs doing and make sure it doesn’t become another deadline sitting in the back of your mind.
